Jeff Bauer 17th in the European Cup

Luxembourg skeleton racer Jeff Bauer is also working on his Austrian tracks this season with the Austrian national team coaches Robin Pieper and Alex Auer.

What he learned during the European Cup in Lillehammer this past weekend paid off. After finishing 46th in the first run on Friday, he qualified on Saturday in a field of seven better-known competitors for the second run, where he ultimately improved by moving up one position. He made up the deficit to the Chinese racer Zi Hu Haifeng and defended 17th place.
